GoodWe, the Chinese inverter manufacturing brand has revamped its look in the new year. GoodWe Technologies Co Ltd is headquartered in Suzhou, China, and was founded in the year 2010. They manufacture solar inverters and storage solutions for residential, commercial and industrial markets.
As of 2021, GoodWe has sold inverters to more than 100 countries and has contributed to more than 23GW of inverter capacity across the globe. GoodWe has been in demand in Australia for years now and is popular for its inverters. The brand came into Australia in the year 2012 and has its office in Melbourne. What makes them so famous is their comparatively lower pricing while still maintaining the quality.
Rebranding is usually a tedious task and is most risky. But in this case, GoodWe has changed its tagline from ‘your solar engine’ to ‘smart energy innovator’ depicting a broader category- Smart energy. In this regard, the company said:
“GoodWe considers technological innovation a key brand pillar, and so both its new logo and the accompanying brand slogan “Smart Energy Innovator” were rebranded to bring out this high-tech identity.”
What’s more is that GoodWe has a new company headquarter which is in Suzhou High-Tech Zone in Jiangsu, China.
“The headquarters — which will extend 20 floors above ground and 3 floors underground — are a major investment, set to feature smart tech and house a smart energy R&D facility where some of the company’s PV product and technology research will be conducted,” says GoodWe.
